Message	incredibly short to take advantage of your 8 gears (since you were emphasizing 1/4 mile performance). so let's say then that it does not help you in the 1/4 mile. then where is it going to help you? stock tranny is geared for 190 with stock tires. add a higher rev limiter and/or bigger tires and you can take 200. do you want to go faster than that? add bigger wheels or lower ratio diff. your engine should still be able to pull that. that's why it's pointless. (no not TOTALLY useless, but not worth it on a street car) Jefe
